Gracie Riario will be coming to the January meeting to discuss the Minisink Valley issue. G. Financial Officer's Report Mr. Berkowitz moved that the regular monthly disbursements for September, 2021 in the amount of $88,398.29 having been audited by Marianne Sciucco and found to be correct, be approved. Committee Reports Building & Grounds: Work on the second phase of the dry sprinkler system will begin later this month. Two technicians will be in the building for a week. Service to the public will not be interrupted but access to the Director's Office and Board Room will be limited while the work is taking place. All of the defective lightbulbs on the library's first floor will be replaced later this month by a local electrical contracting company. I have a meeting scheduled with the third HVAC engineering firm. They will provide me with a cost estimate to produce an analysis of our current system and recommendations for improvements to the system. I will schedule a meeting of the Building and Grounds Committee in advance of our November Board of Trustees meeting. Our exterminators have notified us that we are not currently experiencing any insect infestation issues. I. Old Business None J. New Business Mrs. Sciucco moved the following: RESOLVED, that the Thrall Public Library District of Middletown & Wallkill Board of Trustees accept the following results from the October 5, 2021 Library Budget and Trustees Election. TRUSTEE TOTALS: Tonia Crown: 137 WRITE-IN: 1 vote for each of the following names: Carol Hickman; Juan Roberts-Currie; Joe Striko; Susan Perez; Sharon Arose; Steve Neuhouse; Patricia Dumas; Jon Bedford; Douglas Canton; Mark Strunsky; Boyd Hertah Ms. Lange seconded. Mr. Berkowitz moved that the Board accepted the proposed RCLS Budget as presented. Bishop Smith seconded.
