Mrs. Boyd moved for adoption of the minutes of September 8, 2003. Mr. Berkowitz seconded.

Buildings & Grounds Committee: (A copy of this report was in each Board members packet)

Finance Committee: Mrs. Hutchinson moved that the regular monthly disbursements for July 2003 in the amount of $30,142.08 having been audited by Carl Berkowitz and found to be correct, be approved. Mr. Russo seconded.

I. Committee Reports Cont.
Mr. Berkowitz moved that the regular monthly disbursements for September 2003 in the amount of $43,605.51 having been audited by Richard Bell and found to be correct, be approved. Ms. Sherman seconded.

Mr. Berkowitz moved that the payroll register of deductions for September 3, 2003 in the amount of $18,733.78) having been audited by Richard Bell and found to be correct, be approved. Ms. Lange seconded.

Mr. Berkowitz moved that the Board of Trustees of Middletown Thrall Library amend the 2003 budget to be increased by the following:

REVENUES: L.2705 Gifts & Donations $ 100.00
APPROPRIATIONS: L.7410.8521.12.3810.05 Adult Books $ 100.00

This amount represents a donation that was received in memory of Stephen LeHuray
for the purchase of Adult Books.

Mr. Gallagher reported on the bookdrop at the Town of Wallkill offices. Discussion followed.

Mr. Berkowitz moved to approve the results of the October 7th vote for the library budget and trustee election as outlined in the attached results. Mrs. Boyd seconded.

Mr. Gallagher discussed signature authorization for check and the new Treasurer for 2004. Discussion followed.

Mr. Berkowitz moved to go into executive session at 8:04pm for the purpose of discussing personnel matters. Mr. Russo seconded.
