A. Mr. Bell, President, opened the meeting at 5:07pm.


B. Minutes
Mr. Berkowitz moved for adoption of the reorganizational minutes of the January 13, 2021
meeting. Bishop Smith seconded.
Ayes: Bell, Berkowitz, Lange, Crown, Sciucco, Amelio, Smith - (7)
Noes: None
Motion declared approved. (2/10/21 - 9)

Ms. Lange moved for adoption of the minutes of the January 13, 2021 meeting with
corrections. Ms. Amelio seconded.

C. Visitor Comments/Staff Report
Tracy Allen, Reference Librarian, was introduced to the Board.


D. Correspondence
A copy of any correspondence is sent to each Board member and is attached to the official
minutes.

F. Director's Report

Mr. Pfisterer announced that they will not be going to Albany for advocacy day, which is
usually at the end of February or beginning in March. Mr. Pfisterer reported that they are
planning a virtual advocacy day and Mr. Pfisterer will get the information to the Board
when he receives it.


G. Financial Officer's Report
The audit is scheduled for beginning of March.

Mrs. Crown moved that the regular monthly disbursements for October, 2020 in the
amount of $150,630.80 having been audited by Linda Martini and found to be correct, be
approved. Mr. Berkowitz seconded.
Ayes: Bell, Berkowitz, Lange, Crown, Sciucco, Amelio, Smith - (7)

Motion declared approved. (2/10/21 - 11)

Mrs. Crown moved that the regular monthly disbursements for December, 2020 in the
amount of $90,991.18 having been audited by Carl Berkowitz and found to be correct, be
approved. Ms. Lange seconded.

H. Committee Reports
Building & Grounds: Repairs to the sprinkler system will require two entry points to the
crawlspace above the circulation desk. These crawlspaces have been installed and we
are awaiting inspection from our contractor and scheduling of the date to complete
repairs to the system.

I have received a confirmation from our roofing contractor that they have received our
signed proposal and I expect the work on the project to begin once we are through the
winter.

Due to COVID safety protocols the periodicals room on the first floor is being
converted into a mixed use storage/workplace.

Our exterminators have notified us that we are not currently experiencing any insect
infestation issues.
