A. Mr. Carl Berkowitz, Vice President, opened the meeting at 5:00pm and led the pledge.

Ms. Lange moved for adoption of the minutes of the May 10, 2017 meeting. Ms.
Martini seconded.

D. Correspondence
A copy of all correspondence sent to each Board member is attached to the official
minutes.

Mr. Pfisterer reported receiving a complimentary letter with a small donation, from a
patron about service they received at the reference desk.

A letter was received from Senator John Bonacic congratulating us for securing funding
under the Public Library Construction Grant Program.

Mrs. Boyd moved that the regular monthly disbursements for May, 2017 in the
amount of $106,345.54 having been audited by Marianne Sciucco and found to be correct,
be approved. Ms. Lange seconded.

Mrs. Boyd moved that the Board of Trustees of Middletown Thrall Library amend the
2017 budget to be increased as follows:
