Building & Grounds: The contract for the replacement of our boilers has been reviewed by our attorney and signed. We expect to be completed by November 1, 2018 which will be in compliance with the project completion extension we received from NYS Department of Library Development.

Mr. Pfisterer received a quote from Precision Roofing to complete repairs to the decorative roof tiles and to make other repairs as needed. In order to accept the proposal, I will need a vote of the Board.

Following the retirement of a full-time Librarian II, our fulltime Library Assistant
will be moving into the unoccupied workspace in the Reference Office and the office
space Located in the Reading Room will be converted into the new Security Office.

I am seeking estimates for the installation of camera access into that space and
to complete necessary camera upgrades throughout the building.

We will soon be replacing two broken lamp posts on the Library grounds and constructing concrete protective structures to prevent them from being damaged by vehicle traffic in the future.

Our exterminating contractor has informed us that we are not experiencing any infestation issues in the building.
