Building & Grounds: Ms. Lange reported on Building & Grounds:
We met in August with the engineer for our boiler project to discuss design options and
our next steps in the rebidding process.
The new skateboard park opened to the public on September 1, 2017. So far we have
noticed increased activity including foot traffic and people skateboarding in the street. I
have heard reports of afterhours loitering in the area as well. I have instructed security
staff to monitor the area. I have also instructed staff to be aware of the increased
activity as they enter and exit the staff parking area.
I have asked custodial staff to pay increased attention to the landscaping around the
building's perimeter.
