Thrall Public Library District of Middletown and Wallkill
Board of Trustees
November 6, 2002

I. Call to Order

Mr. Richard C. Bell, President, opened the meeting at 7:00pm and led the pledge to the flag.

II. Roll Call

Mr. Russo called the roll:

III. New Business

Mr. Russo moved to accept a resolution to decertify the results of the October 8, 2002 public referendum to expand the existing library district. There was no second. Motion failed.
Mr. Berkowitz moved to extend to the new patrons of this enlarged library district the full services of the library starting immediately to January 1, 2003. Mrs. Boyd seconded. Discussion followed.


AYES: Hutchinson, Russo, Boyd, Sherman, Berkowitz – 5
Noes: None

Motion declared approved. (11/6/02 – 94)


Discussion followed concerning the expanded district.

IV. Adjournment

Mr. Berkowitz moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:15pm. Mrs. Hutchinson seconded.
