- Only the Animals - Ceridwen Dovey - The souls of ten animals whose lives were entwined with both a writer and an historical event, relate stories of human suffering and success.
- Did You Ever Have a Family - Bill Clegg - The night before her daughter's wedding, June Reid loses her entire family in a house fire. Consumed with grief, she leaves her small Connecticut hometown and heads to Moonstone Motel across the country in the Pacific Northwest.

- Hangman's Game - Bill Syken - Nick Gallow, an injured quarterback turned 2nd string punter, gets caught in the middle of a murder investigation involving his teammates including the up and coming player that would be taking Nick's job. First in a new football-themed mystery series.
- Dragonfish - Vu Tran - Robert Ruen, an Oakland cop, finds himself blackmailed into looking for his Vietnamese ex-wife, who has run off to Vegas and married someone with ties to her past. As Robert navigates the sleazy underworld of Las Vegas gambling, the sad story of his wife's refugee past unfolds.

- The Highwayman - Kerrigan Byrne - First in a new series. Widow Farah Leigh MacKenzie is kidnapped by Dorian Blackwell, a shadowy figure from Victorian London's dark and dangerous underground. When his former unit commander goes rogue, Kane teams up with special ops agent Renee Heart to take down the commander and unravel a conspiracy that reaches to the upper levels of the government.
